ISSP-IIS Joint Symposium on
Physics of Open Systems: Resonance, Symmetry and Topology

The Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP) and the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), both located on the Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokyo, are co-organizing the international workshop titled “Physics of Open Systems: Resonance, Symmetry, and Topology.”

This workshop explores the physics of open systems in the broadest sense. We aim to bring together researchers working across a wide range of disciplines―from classical to quantum regimes―to stimulate cross-disciplinary discussions and foster the emergence of a new paradigm in the study of open systems.
